Silhill 1sts prior to kick-off at home to Birmingham Tigers, on Saturday 10th August 2024 in Midland Football League Division 3. With over 60 people watching, Silhill won the game 6-2 with a flurry of goals from Ben Davis 2, Alfie Merriman, Jon Myrie, Kyle Porter & their Man-of-the-Match Josh Sarmento:

Jack Shephard’s 2nd team line-up for 2023-24. In that Season they took over the Silhill 1sts’ place in the Birmingham & District Football League Premier Division, after the 1sts had moved on to the Midland Football League. So, having had to step up from Division 1, Silhill 2nds battled with huge positivity & determination to finish a highly creditable 8th in the Premier, on 23 points from 22 games, with 6 victories & 5 draws. The team’s top marksman for Season 2023-24 was Dan Atkins on 10 goals.

Ross Owen’s Silhill 3rd team before they kicked off on 23rd March 2024 in the 2024 Birmingham & District Football League Junior Cup Final under floodlights on the Coleshill Road Nurseries astroturf in Sutton Coldfield.

In the Final Silhill won this famous old Cup, first awarded in the 1912-13 Season, for the 11th time, defeating old rivals Village 2nds in a nailbiting penalty shoot-out 4-3. That followed a 5-5 deadlock after normal time & 6-6 after extra time.

The goalscorers on the evening were: Adam Hemming 2, Inderpal Mandair 1, Ben Stratford 2, Sammy Webster 1. Then Silhill's penalties were scored by, in order: Dean Campbell, Adam Hemming, Matt Burns & Drew Hill.
